Joakim joined Cognit as a partner after several years as an operations developer and CEO of a consulting company specializing in risk- and process-based business management systems, which included the topics of quality, environment, work environment, product and information security with assignments worldwide.

He has a university education in biology/chemistry with broadening towards business administration/law. He has previously worked as Production Manager, HSEQ Manager, Audit Manager, Chief Auditor, CEO of certification bodies and Interim Manager in several different industries for both national and international organizations.

Joakim has represented Sweden and the Nordic countries in international cooperation groups such as ISO, BRC and GFSI for the development of international standards and guidelines.

He is often employed as a moderator and lecturer and has, among other things, lectured for the Nordic Council, the Swedish Food Authority and the Euroforum.
